How do I find what’s covered under my plan?
Nationwide offers plans that provide coverage for injuries, illnesses and more. However, not every plan offers the same coverage, so be sure to take a look at the declarations page and coverage form in your policy packet to see your plan’s specific coverage details. These documents are also available digitally at my.petinsurance.com.

Pre-existing conditions are not covered
Like most pet insurers, we don’t cover pre-existing conditions. “Pre-existing condition” means a condition for which any of the following are true prior to the effective date of a pet insurance policy or during a waiting period:
The good news is, not all pre-existing conditions are excluded permanently. Upon review request, we’re happy to review conditions that have been deemed cured and remained treatment-free for a specified period of time (depending on the condition).
However, please keep in mind that some chronic conditions may not be eligible for review.
